FIRST-TIME HOMEBUYER COURSES:

COLORADO HOUSING AND FINANCE AUTHORITY: The Colorado Housing and Finance Authority hosts free first time home buying courses across Colorado and online. Visit chfainfo.com/homeownership/homebuyer-education to learn more and see when the next class is available!

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:

GRAND COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY: Acquires, develops, leases, and operates affordable housing for Grand County residents with limited incomes. Low and moderate-income homebuyers may apply for down payment and closing costs as necessary to obtain homeownership.
GRAND FOUNDATION HOUSING ASSISTANCE FUND: The Fund aims to help full-time residents successfully live and work in Grand County. Applicants will be prioritized upon economic need. Funds can be used for down-payment or mortgage assistance.
MOUNTAIN FAMILY CENTER: programs for one-time assistance with housing or utilities.
LOW INCOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (LEAP): LEAP helps families pay their heating bills from November 1 to April 30. It is a federally funded program that helps eligible and hard-working Colorado families, seniors, and individuals pay a portion of their winter home heating costs. In most cases, payments are made directly to the primary heating fuel vendor. Other benefits include repair or replacement of a home’s primary heating system.
