Elections
The Town of Granby is a statutory municipality and follows the Colorado Municipal Election Code. The seven member Board of Trustees is a legislative and governing body and includes a Mayor and six Board members. The Board of Trustees provides direction to Town staff, enacts laws, adopts a yearly budget and has the power of appointment over numerous town officials.
2026 TOWN OF GRANBY REGULAR MUNICIPAL ELECTION
The Town of Granby Regular Municipal Election will be held as a Coordinated Election with the Grand County Clerk & Recorder in conjunction with the upcoming election to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The Election will be conducted as a mail ballot election. The ballot will contain the following: Three (3) Trustee candidates, each for a (4) four-year term. In order to be eligible to run for the position of Mayor or Trustee, each candidate must first meet the following criteria:
- I am a citizen of the United States of America
- I am at least eighteen (18) years of age
- I have been a resident of the Town of Granby for twelve (12) consecutive months immediately preceding the election
- I am a registered elector in the municipality

You can register to vote online at the Colorado Secretary of State Online Voter Registration or you can print and complete a Voter Registration Form (pdf) and register in person at the following locations:

Granby Town Hall will be open 7 am - 7 pm for in-person voting on election day for General Elections Only. A 24-hour County controlled, video surveillance drop-off box is located outside of Granby Town Hall for ballot drop off prior to election day.
