2026 Chip and Seal Project - Deadline March 18, 2026

Invitation to bid 2026 Chip and Seal Project Bid Information and Specifications

 

Electronic Bids/Proposals will be received via email by the Town of Granby, State of Colorado, hereinafter referred to as the "Owner" or "Town". All bids will be received electronically by 10:00 A.M. MST, Wednesday, March 18, 2026, for the 2026 Chip and Seal Project. All bids must be submitted via https://www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado. 

At said time, all Bids that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read allowed. Bids received after said closing time of 10:00 A.M., local time, will not be accepted.

The Bid square yard price should include all labor, equipment, and emulsion to apply:

 1) Single chip using 3/8" clean aggregate (washed with less than 2% passing the #200 sieve) - bid 70,000- 90,000 square yards to include finish fog coat application.

2) Include all total costs mobilization, de-mobilization, etc.

3) Bid must also include all traffic control needed for the project.

4) Successful bidder must verify all water valve boxes and manhole cover locations prior to commencing chip and seal operation. Upon completion of project all valves and manhole covers must be inspected for damage and access by contractor for owner.
