North Service Area Water Treatment Plant- Deadline December 18, 2024

The Town of Granby (Owner) is accepting bids for the construction of its North Service Area Water Treatment Plant (NSA WTP) Project until Wednesday, December 18th, 2024 at 2:00 PM through its Bidding Documents Website (see below). Bids will be publicly read aloud at 2:15 PM at Granby Town Hall, Zero Jasper Avenue, Granby, CO 80446.

The overall project includes, but is not limited to, the following work: Construction and startup of a new 0.65-MGD drinking water treatment facility, raw and irrigation water pumping systems improvements at the existing treatment facility, and approximately 1,400 LF each of new buried raw water and process residuals pipelines between the existing facility and new treatment building.

This project anticipates funding from the Colorado State Revolving Fund (SRF) loan program. Bidder’s attention is called to the Project Manual’s Appendix B for SRF requirements.

Bidding documents may be downloaded from the Bidding Documents Website, which will be updated periodically with all official notifications, addenda and other information relevant to submitting a bid. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for bidding documents, including addenda, obtained from sources other than the Designated Website. Bids will only be accepted via electronic submission through the Bidding Documents Website.

A mandatory pre-bid conference for the project will be held on Thursday, November 7th, 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Town's existing water treatment plant located at 725 County Road 574 (Park Lane), Granby, Colorado. The conference will include a tour of the existing WTP facility, the proposed new treatment building site, buried pipeline alignments, and staging areas. Bids will not be accepted from bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.

A Bid Bond in an amount of at least 5% of the maximum bid price shall be submitted with the bid. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
