CHIEF OF POLICE

The Town of Granby is looking for a new Chief of Police to guide our department to its next chapter. The Granby Police Department is dedicated to working collaboratively with citizens, community groups, and other agencies to preserve and improve the special quality of life in Granby, Colorado. The ideal candidate is a dedicated leader ready to direct and to be a proactive part of a growing department.
As the Chief Administrative and Law Enforcement Officer of the Town, he/she performs a variety of complex administrative, supervisory, and professional work in planning, coordinating, and directing the day-to-day operations of the Police Department including Patrol, Criminal Investigations, and Support Services. The Chief directs operation of the police department by performing duties personally or through subordinate police officers and personnel to ensure the protection of life and property and the enforcement of laws and ordinances.
This is a “Working Chief” role, which requires active participation in patrol, field response, investigations, and community policing alongside administrative responsibilities.

POLICE OFFICER
Granby Police Department is hiring for the Police Officer role.
A Police Officer is responsible for responding to calls for service and assistance requests. Response may be on foot or by driving from place to place in a squad car. A Police Officer proactively and reactively enforces Federal, State of Colorado, and Town of Granby (local) laws by making physical arrests and issuing summons to violators. A Police Officer is required to prepare reports on actions taken and testify in a court of law when required. Candidates shall be a graduate from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice or other appropriate field of study; or possess any equivalent combination of education, experience, or training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Additionally, candidates shall be in possession of or have the ability to obtain, a valid Colorado driver license and Certification by Colorado P.O.S.T. (Police Officer Standardized Training).
This is a full-time, benefited position with entry pay of $33.91 per hour.

WATER OPERATOR
The Town of Granby is hiring a Water Operator to join our Public Works team.
Operate, inspect, maintain and repair Town of Granby’s wells, water plants, tanks, distribution systems, augmentation system, water meters systems and all other aspects of operation to comply with USEPA and Colorado Department of Health standards and ensure community satisfaction and safety. This also includes all aspects of the raw water and nonpotable water systems as well as any other tasks as assigned by the Chief Operator, Town Manager or Water Superintendent.
Must have the ability to assist nights and on weekends as needed to provide water repairs, water quality testing, and rotating on call status for system checks that ensure proper system operation and regulatory compliance on a 24-hour basis. Must be willing to perform all repairs as well as maintenance and cleaning of the Town of Granby’s WSA equipment, vehicles, buildings as well as other structures and devices. Will perform a variety of skilled, semi-skilled and labor tasks associated with mechanics, construction, maintenance, and laborer and correspondence related activities.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION DRIVER - PART-TIME
The Town of Granby is excited to announce a public, shared ride service for our town.
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Public Transportation Driver to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a 12-passenger minibus, while providing excellent service to passengers.
Granby Connect operates 7 days a week, 9:00am-9:00pm.
