Mobile Vendor Permit - Food Truck/Stand

All food trucks, vehicles, carts, wagons, mobile stands or other appurtenances used to conduct mobile food vending are required to obtain a food truck mobile vendor permit prior to making sales.  Permits are issued for a one-year term for a fee of $25.00. If approved, permits will be issued within five business days after receiving fees and completed application. If issued a permit, the permittee shall retain the permit in their possession when conducting business within the town and must show the permit when requested.   All locations approved for the placement and operation of mobile food vending must maintain a minimum distance of 100 feet from any building housing an established licensed eating and drinking establishment, unless applying to participate in organized events within Town.  Applicants are required to familiarize themselves with applicable Granby Municipal Codes, including 5.05, and 16.105.020.

All mobile vendors are required to hold a Colorado Sales Tax License with Granby, CO added as a location, or ‘site’.

Additionally, Grand County has its own requirements.  Please visit the Grand County Temporary Food at Special Events Permit and consult their flow chart for guidance.

For new or remodeled food truck, push carts, vehicles, etc., please visit the Grand County's Consumer Protection Page for requirements and application process prior to applying for a Town mobile vendor permit.
